Tracey & Devon have amazing families and a great group of close friends. Liz and I spent the day in Galena with them before the wedding, Liz with the girls and I with the guys on the golf course. The wedding was held outside at the Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena with the reception inside one of the ballrooms. Lots of love in the air, this wedding was for all the right reasons.

I love to shoot weddings at the Cedar Rapids Art Museum! It’s makes it even better when you have a great couple that is so easy going and fun loving. From the time we met I knew Kate and Jason were my kind of people. Even if a tornado came through town I don’t think it would of ruined their day. Great family, great friends, great food. They even shipped in some Spotted Cow beer, Yum!

I had spent a lot of time with Suzanne and Tony prior to the wedding day and had gotten to know them pretty well. Tony and I seem to never run out of things to talk about. I feel bad for Suzanne because we get going and then she is stuck listening to us. Sorry Suzanne!
They had a great wedding reception at the Cedar Rapids Marriott. Lots of traditional Lebanese dancing and some great food as well. Suzanne’s family was so gracious and fantastic hosts. It’s not uncommon for us to get hugs and handshakes from family through out a wedding day but Suzanne’s parents came to our table during dinner to share some very kind words that meant a lot to me.
Thank you Suzanne and Tony, I really enjoyed working with you through out your wedding planning, I hope we can get together in the future for a few drinks. Best wishes!

One of my favorite weddings this year! Kara and Scott were a great couple to work with. After our engagement session I knew the wedding day was going to be a blast. The Ceremony took place in Cascade, IA in beautiful church on a near perfect day. The recepiton was at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, IA. Every last detail was perfected by Posh Weddings. With the great weather we were able to get some amazing sun set images out side on the river walk. Here are a few of our favorite images from the day!
